As the Adults Ministry Worship Director, you will lead and cultivate worship experiences across the Singles Ministry, 30s/40s Ministry, and Young Adults (College) Ministry. This role involves planning and executing engaging worship services, developing and mentoring volunteer teams, and coordinating worship for additional events. You will also assist in leading worship for major church-wide Cornerstone events, ensuring that worship is impactful and aligned with the church’s vision.

What you will do…
Visionary Leadership:
- Develop and implement a worship vision for the Adults Ministry spaces that aligns with the church’s overall mission.
- Foster a worship culture that is authentic, engaging, and spiritually formative for adults in different life stages.
Weekly Worship:
- Plan and lead worship for Singles, 30s/40s, and Young Adults gatherings.
- Coordinate and resource volunteer worship teams, ensuring excellence in preparation and execution.
- Select and arrange songs that resonate with the adults’ ministries while maintaining theological and musical integrity.
Event Preparation:
- Lead worship for additional ministry events, including retreats, worship nights, and special seasonal gatherings.
- Assist in planning and leading worship for large Cornerstone events, collaborating with the broader Creative Arts team.
Volunteer Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor volunteer worship team members across all adults ministry spaces.
- Provide spiritual and musical growth opportunities for worship team members.
Creative Stewardship:
- Work closely with ministry leaders to create cohesive worship experiences tailored to each demographic.
- Partner with the Creative Arts department to ensure worship across all church spaces is unified and impactful.
Collaboration:
- Ensure worship content aligns with the church’s theological framework while being relevant and engaging for adult audiences.
- Maintain a high standard of musical, technical, and creative excellence.
- Strong vocal and instrumental proficiency with the ability to lead worship effectively.
- Knowledge of music theory and the ability to communicate with musicians of varying skill levels.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly with students.
- Must be or become a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship who supports the vision and values.
Experience:
- Previous experience leading worship in an adult ministry context.
- Experience recruiting, training, and managing volunteer musicians.
- Familiarity with worship technology, including sound systems, ProPresenter, and lighting equipment.
- 2+ years’ experience (volunteer or staff) in a large church setting
Personal Life:
- Model biblical integrity and character in all aspects of life (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9).
- Demonstrate a passion for worship and a heart for leading students in their faith journey.
- Cultivate healthy relationships and model biblical community within the church and personal life.
Work Schedule:
- This is a part-time role with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to accommodate ministry services and events.
- Participation in weekly team meetings and occasional staff events is required.
